No clue on the coin bro', but a nice find nonetheless.:thumbup:Congrats on the foreign:cheers: Glad to see that you got the smaller coil.:biggrin:It's great for findin' tiny gold nuggets, too!:detecting:That Scorpion is hoT, hOT, HOT!!!:super:Happy Hunting!

Lots of coins and rings out of the ground. It's a great machine, and gets a lot of use in my detecting world. Great finds Bugar!

Good morning. My Scorpion came with three coils. The usual elliptical ones and a round one which appears to be a co axial coil, about 4" in diameter x 1" thick.anyone acquainted with it? It isn't shown in the Garrett catalogues as part of the Scorpion aux.??

I have one in my book (not my detecting book, BTW) and researched it a while ago. Cool find!

Yeah, I've got that 4.5" Crossfire Goldhunter. Garrett hasn't made those in years. Man, it's great for coin shootin'. They also used to make a 8.5" and 12.5" round Crossfire Gold Hunter coils for the Scorpion Gold Stinger. Now they only have the 3"x7" double"D" and 5"x10" double"D", which are both actually quite great. Best of luck to ya'. Happy Hunting:)

good morning my friend, I just found my way back and discovered your post on the 4 1/2" cross fire coil for the Scorpion. . I thank you very much and apologize for the extreme delay.
