Found this buckle detecting an old civil war camp, does anyone know what kind of buckle it is?

Well obviously half a buckle but as to a clothing buckle or horse tack at this point is a wild guess????

I have no idea but, if your at a civil war camp keep looking there’s gotta be more there.

I did find something else not sure if is a percussion cap from the civil war or just a modern hollow point bullet, what do you think?

That looks like a relatively modern hollowpoint bullet to me.

It's made of copper or brass.
