This is just a few of the things I found for a couple of hours digging before dark. Can you beleive I never made it out of the back yard I was digging so much. Can't wait to go back and try to work my way around to the front. Not sure what the twisted brass rod would be for. Each end is opened in the middle???
 
It may be part of a gun cleaning rod. Just a guess. Nice finds, David @ Dixie
