I don't want you to be impressed that I found it even though I can promise you that Ray and Dr.Bob pounded this particular probably 200 square foot area with the Etrac after Ray found an 1895O dime there not long ago.

My only point is that this machine went in there and rang out to where none of us would miss the quarter signal and it hit from about every angle. It was slightly on edge and only slightly at that and did have the dark spot on the coin covered with just part of a nail. But no special hearing was to blame. I didn't have to be the expert to hear it. It just plain saw what the other machines failed to see or at least recognize. Only about 6 inches deep.

That's it...

For as little hunting I get to actually do I think the finds this machine comes up with are pretty impressive.

Guvner,
That is a great find. This machine is really something when it comes to finds that others have missed. Most of the areas that I search and am having luck in are areas that have been searched over and over by others. Thanks for sharing.

dats why I laid th moola down for it,,, well done,,,, I AM impressed,,,,,,,

Kudos to you Guv!! That's an excellent find and yes I did pound that area.

Wish I could say I intentionally saved it for you:shrug:

Nice one Guvnor - I had a similar experience last night - hunted the edge of an old wading pool that is now covered over - hit it HARD over the past 2 years with the E-Trac - swung through it quickly last night and found a Merc and 7 wheats - like - where did these come from??? Love the 3030

Said he went back over to where I dug that to see what went wrong previously and found iron on the three sides surrounding my hole or something to that extent. I'll let him post about it.
