Today my asignment was to find the slugg that killed the 9 point buck. My brother had the tree marked, so I searched and searched, in front of the tree, and found nothing , It was not untill I got 9 ft behind the tree i got a loud signal and thear it was the 50 cal S&W pistol round that passed thru the bucks spine , droped him whear he stood, my brother was going thru the dirt franticaly looking for the slugg and i said dont waist your time I will come back with the metal detector , I think he will be happy to have this as a sovineer ,, Also found was some 40.s 50,s shot shells wich shows I have not covered all the ground yet . who knows what els may be out thear .
