[attachment 41900 zircons.jpg]Went back to the beach where I found the Zircon stud and 50 yards away I got a faint signal and recovered the mate to the one I found the other day.

Custom built waterproofed Soverign XS2A Pro with the 10" Tornado coil.

Hi Akbell, I give credit to anyone who finds small non ring gold items. Whoever waterproofed your Sovereign did a Great job. Good luck! Walter

Yes the rescaled 180 meter is waterproofed as well. I know most folks don't seem to need/want a meter when water hunting, but I find it nice to have. I can however just unplug it and slide it off the V block if I don't want to use it. The unit is set up to operate off of AAA batteries instead of AA. I get about 14 hrs of hunt time from a set.

May I ask who built your water proof Sov. I have a Sov GT and want to have it waterproofed.

Thanks for the info if you can help.

Gary

Gary, the guy that did mine no longer does them and asked that his name not be used. Sorry.

The odds of someone losing both earrings in roughly the same area aren't high, the odds of a detector finding even one of them aren't high, the odds of something that small not being washed away aren't high and the odds of you finding both of them aren't high.

You BEAT THE HECK OUT OF THE ODDS :clapping:

That's just a super job there!!
