Had a great hunt with DrBob yesterday and dug my second 1895o Barber since getting my E-Trac.Strange how things happen as we had given up on a park and was headed out of town when we decided to go back and hunt for another hour or so.Sure glad we did as about 15 min. after returning I hit the key dime at almost 10" in an area I had hunted hard many times.I think with the perfect ground moisture and lack of grass yet this spring allowed me to get that last inch of depth I needed to find it.
Dr.Bob seen me practically running toward him and new I had a nice one.I was not quite sure of the date until I showed him and gently removed a bit more dirt. Now that I have two of them I guess I should break down and send them in to be graded.
Any suggestions on best grading service will be appreciated,Ray.

It was a great hunt and pure skill of yours to get that deep of a dime in that trash. You truly are an E-trac Grand Master:clapping:

Had a great time as usual and look forward to seeing how thta coin grades!

Big congrats on the 1895 O. What's next, the 1894 S:drool:

Very nice, Ray! I'd say fine condition worth $800+.

P.S. Finding that at 10"... hmmmm... I don't think that fancy new wireless detector you have your eye on is going to do that!

great conage:clapping: only one i know of who has sent a coin to be geaded was goesforever. so you may want to ask him

Ray, a Big Congrats on your latest finds with Dr. Bob. I just got my E-Trac last week and I have followed all your posts for the past 18mos along with some of the other top 8 guys. You are truely a Grand Master. I have printed everything out
from different posts ( ADVICE) from you and the top 8 guys for the past 18mos. and organized all of it in a 6" binder and now I'm trying to apply all your knowledge in hopes to also become a master after paying my dues. Thanks to you and all the others for sharing with the rest of us. It's what we leave behind for others before we go that counts.Jeff63 St. Charles,Mo

Super nice KEY date Barber.........I would say a high VG10.......might even be a low Fine........a lot will depend if they say it has environmental damage from being in the ground.........nonetheless, great looking dime!
