So, checking local tide info, wave action, the days temp. Decided it was a good time to hunt up the Beach couple of miles. In front of a small Tiki bar. So after a short walk noticed some deep water protected by a sandbar. Wading in, hunted around a little, started digging some tabs and bottle caps. Bottom fairly sandy. Moving deeper, couple batteries, junk ring. Hunting out little further, started hitting some quarter's, heavy sinker. Things getting interesting now, bottom less sandy but not hard pack. Without waves, chest deep now. Hunting with Infinium, 8" mono, hit a nice lo-hi tone. Gotta be a quarter, maybe silver. Deep, down on the hard. Now surf knocking me around, coming over the sandbar. Temp. been dropping since I started. Just when I found what could be a sweet spot conditions threw me back on the beach. Two days now, still wild out there. I'll be back.

Just wait for the tide to really recede back about 1/2 mile when a sunami happens and you'll have about 10 minutes window of time to get all that gold BUT.....make sure you have a helicopter ready to lift you up a couple of hundred feet when that 100ft wave comes in lol! Good luck on your next visit into the water!
