Found something to spend my found coins on...

Cause if it is, it sure is a beauty!

Sounds like a good idea Bill. I've alloted what I've found with the Ace; however, I might put my future finds towards a GTI 1500. I sure hope that I can modify the arm cuff and battery compartment, as they look ugly to me.
Mick Evans.

Willy, thanks for starting this thread. John, thanks for posting the link. I just ordered a set with some of my 2007 found $$$. I decided I'm going to buy one of these mint sets each year starting now. With the price of gold so high, I might forgo buying a gold coin for a while. That set is a beaut. I like the thought of the 90% silver coins.

Yeah it's a good looking set and a lot cheaper than gold an will only appreciate in price over the years.

Bill

Nah they ain't as bad as they look. You can pull the battery pack off and hip mount it. You'll like the 1500, it's a coin finding fool. I field tested that puppy way back in the nineties.

Bill

That's the one John. Dang did you see the price of the gold buffalo - $900. And those half ounce spouse coins for $530 a pop. WHOEEEEE! I'll take that 14 coin mint set.

Bill

Bill[/quote]I hear ya. Silver looks real nice to. Kind of a working mans gold. Plus it leaves me some to buy something else.
