Found Something I don't like about Etrac

Seems like I am constantly digging and the Holes are Deep. Found nothing shallow today. Everything was 6" or more.

Found this Bracelet, which I gave back to the Owner, who let me search his Mothers old House.

$225 in Quarters
Bunch of Pennies
1941 Wheat
1948 Rosie
This was all in about an hour and a Half

Daddyflea, fantastic work in an hour and a half. $225 in quarters! By any chance did you forget to put a point between the 2's? If not you are a mighty efficient man with the e trac. Good work though, regardless.

I was gonna go there but figured I'd let someone else give the heat...:)

You are right that should be 2.25 not 225

One thing that is killing me is that I am used to a Sunray, I am used to Pin Pointing with Discr. Now using a Carrot stick all these Nails are making it hard to find the target.

Sunray to me is only way to go.........so nice putting in hole and hear a null......NEXT!!!!

Easy there daddy flea. I'll bet in a couple weeks-- you'll be digging a little deeper. Once you get into a site that has produced well in the past.
You'll get some targets--- tid will be a jumping in sorta like a checkerboard fashion with weak tone. And sure enough there will be a DEEP target down there
True the say9.5" and shallower are more cut and dried as far as Tid/ tone, but not the fringe depth targets.

Hint-- watch the cursor and its tendencies to move around. You'll evemtually start to see a pattern.

Cheers

Bet it's deeper than that V3 you got.

There is a whole lot it does better than the V3i

I have to agree with you on the E-Trac being deep. Having dug an 11.5" repeatable Barber dime and 11" scratchy but repeatable Standing Liberty, I am very happy with deep targets.

That is why I love my E-Trac!
