I went to a beach to hunt coins and jewelry.I found a real nice silver ring there last time, with 2 opals in it.I also found $4.29 in clad then.I started out on the dry sand, found $1.25 in clad real quick, then the people started to show up.It was a real mob.I left.I went to a real old baseball field.I've never hunted it before.I found a 1962 Rosie,1953 Rosie,a 1954 nickel(all I can read on the nickel is the date) a silver Canadian dime,1934-D Wheatie and a 1920 Plain Wheatie.I didn't hunt this place for more than 35 minutes. It was 95 degrees and I got weak and dizzy. The shallowest coin was a Wheatie at 4".One of the dimes was at 10",I measured it.I was using the CZ3D,enhanced,ground balanced at 7,sensitivity at 4,volume at 8.I dug one twisted up beavertail and one smashed screw cap.I knew the screw cap wasn't a coin, the tone was too loud and it didn't pinpoint small.I had to dig it though. It could have been a shallow quarter.Got to get back to this field early in the day.
