Found some goodies at an 1866 home

I got permission form a nice old guy to detect around an 1866 vintage house that he owns. He lives right next door to it. He has turned down other requests to do it in the past. When I asked, he mentioned that he owned $200 BH he had bought at Wal-Mart but didn't really know how to use it. Instead of running down his purchase, I offered to show him how to use it and asked if he wanted to detect with me. I believe this is what got me the permission. He did find one wheat penny with it but mostly dug holes with no targets. It pays to be nice.
Here's a close-up of the good stuff. 1901 Barber dime, 2 1917 Mercs, 3 IHs 1889,1889,1899. A Sterling Silver heart pendant. I believe the pocketwatch is silver also by the way it cleaned up. It says New Haven Clock Co. on it. A few wheats also.

Dave, you are a man after my own heart! I have done the same thing. Cultivate your spots as none are ever hunted out. You have the 3d figured out. I am trying the rest, but you have the best. The 3d is one super detector. I enjoy reading about your finds.R.L.

Excellent finds Dave! The one with a hole looks like a tax token. Is it?
