Found some goodies after the potato harvest!

I re-hunted the field that gave up a bunch of CW tokens and buttons last year. There were still some goodies after the third time hunting this spot. Lots of iron. The top item is a Patriotic Token (like a store card but with a patriotic theme - Both Sides Shown). I also found three Civil War period buttons, one cuff button fell apart. That one is sure a beauty! Then an assortment of buttons, the flat ones are smooth on the fronts. The last big rusty one looks to be a "hunter" button. I can see a rabbit on there. Definitely a fun hunt, just me, a nice day and a sandy potato field.

Great finds! That Infantry Civil War button is one of the nicest I've seen - it looks brand new. Got to love that Patriotic CWT too - that's also in nice shape. Way to go and HH.

Those finds are my kind of finds. I like finding silver, but old buttons and CW finds interest me most. Way to go WF, wished i had more of those kind of locations around me. I still get a good collection of that era military buttons just because they wore there uniforms once the CW was over.
