Was at a 1870s yard, After 3 minutes with the E-trac and the NEL Hunter coil I hit a solid silver Signal. Dug down 4 inches and WOW:clapping: a SLQ. About a hour later I had the NEL Snake coil on. I went over an area I already did with the NEL Hunter. Boom, a 1943 Quarter. Dug 3 wheats and other bits. I have not had a 2 sliver quarter find in one day in quite a while.

Cool beans--congrats!-----Silver quarter finds have become a rare occurrence---much less a SLQ.-----Your post makes me want to go hunting!

I get really excited when I see a SLQ. That is only my 3rd one ever.

Well done nice finds!

SLQ's sure are great looking coins - congrats !
Don't get me wrong - I like finding a mint condition silver coin as much as next guy - but the heavily worn old silver coins have character and to me they look really cool !

The only one I like finding more is the Seated Quarter. Only found one in 3 years.

Going back next Friday. Going to take my E-trac and F75 and pound the yard to death.
