Found Six Rings today in the Wet...No gold

I dig everything on the beach. I think most people that hunt the beaches dig everything. It was kind of frustrating though. There were lots of targets in the wet sand. I found four silver rings, one titanium ring, one junker and lots of coins. One of the silver rings was a Tiffany. Those rings go for $40-$50. on Ebay. I'll be selling that one shortly after I give it a little spit shine.

But darn....where's the gold?

just like everything the hard economic times, the jewelry stores aren't doing so hot either on selling gold diamond rings over $500.00 range so you'll probably notice alot of budget weddings in the makes and after the obahma regime gets out of office

You know AMC I actually think you are on to something there. There is a recession going on in metal detecting for the recent drops anyhow. The quality stuff seems harder to find than it used to be.

Anyhow, I gave the Tiffany ring a little spit shine today. Semi-Chrome works wonders with a lathe to spin the ring.

Sweet:thumbup: Nice finds...Helps at Xmas time...

I would guess it has something to do with weight. I think you had an amazing day finding that many rings. The beach guys talk about troughs a lot. Pockets that collect certain weights of things. I also imagine a man's heavy wedding band is easier to find that a small cocktail ring. I am not a beach hunter, but I would say you just need to hit it again and vary your distance out in the surf until you find gold. Good job. I think everything is wok ring and you will find some beach gold.
