Found Silver Today - 1900 Barber Dime

One of my best finds to date - 1900 Barber Dime. Found it by river that runs through our town about 2 inches down. I've found a 1945 Mercury Dime before but this one is my oldest find and it cleaned up nicely.

Thats a beauty alright! So are you hunting in and along the river with the Pro?

Congrats , on your first barber :clapping: that's a beauty

Hi mudpuppy, I didn't actually get in the water. We have some picnic tables and such near the river in town. I was actually looking for rings and quarters. Was about 15 yards away from the picnic area and got a strong hit. Figured it was gonna be a regular dime because it wasn't showing to be very deep.

I find it to be a real high to dig an oldie in really nice shape, and a mixed heart breaker to scratch\gouge one. Congrats on that beauty.

'Ya never get tired of digging those old beauties! Yours has excellent detail, too.
