Found rings

Hello all,
Last week there was a pool party in my backyard pool for my birthday. Today morning my pool looked a bit unclean. So I found some tips online to keep the pool clean and cleaned the pool accordingly. After complete cleanup, I found 2 rings and a bracelet in my pool. One of the rings was gold. I'm planning to return it as soon as possible.

Always return lost items only when you've verified ownership. It is a sad but common thing to find many are willing to lie about it. Trust but verify is very wise advice. You have the advantage of dealing with a limited group and ongoing relationships, but I would leave a key detail out for the verification of ownership to make sure things go where they should. This can and should be done tactfully, of course.

That must have been a heck of a party!!! LOL, I agree, if you can find the owners they should be returned. WTG!!
