I found a Rare Honor Badge From The Improved Order of the Red Man . I think the best part about Metal detecting is the history lesson yo get

Great find and your so right about the histroy lesson. I tell people when I show them my finds It's not the value of it, but the history.

The ID number was 77 I thought it was a Penny . Till I started to find out what it was I never heard about The Improved Order of the Red Man . I just love the History lessons you learn from Detecting. I found a Standing Liberty yesterday . I could not read the date . Then I found it had no stars under the eagle I thought a 1916 . The the search started . What I found is that it is a 1917 type 1 very cool .
