It was 61 % at 6 am when I started detecting :( Only got worse - I lasted till 10:30 with an apple pie break at Mc Dees. Didnt get a lot but it was a day of strange finds, dog chain, pipe wrench & junk earrings.

The wrench is like new - was buried in chipbark - still has the bar code on it. I'll give the dog chain/leash to a friend & put the wrench in my tool box.
We finally had some rain last night, Steve in so az

Steve,

You have an open invite to visit the Humidity Capitol of the world..... South Arkansas. d2, who posts in a few of the forums here.....and another buddy, and myself have hunted the last 5 weekends in a row.... in heavy timber.... with little or no breeze... sun and threats of t'storms building by afternoon. We have been getting into the woods by 7:00am... and taking water and a cooler of iced sweet tea... we have been able to make it until 12:30-1:30 in the afternoon. When we have come out to the truck, it has been 94 to 97 degrees each day. I am wet with sweat down to my knees! and so are my hunting partners.

We must be really stupid.... we keep going back! That, or it could be the over 250 bullets the three of us have found the last 5 weekends. I'd still claim a bit of stupidity!

Be a blessing to another this day,

Kim

Are you guys digging drops ? Great fun if so. I sweat a lot also but that keeps me somewhat cooled through evap. Finding goodies can keep one going , Steve in so az

my son is flying into Phoenix sometime early Friday AM.. (01:00-02:00)

I hate to burst your bubble  but 61% is dry :) Right now were at 84%. Should be drying out by tomorrow afternoon. Between here and Gettysburg, I don't know which was worse. The one good thing about Gettysburg was that I didn't have to work in a production plant were it's hotter and more humid inside than it is outside

all the weight you Keep off working in those conditions ! Got to be some advantages ;) 84 % must be almost rain ! Steve
