A very nice 1937 Lourdes pilgrimage medallion.
Found at low tide mark on local beach here in South Wales.
Found with my trusty Explorer II plus SEF 15 x 12" Coil...great combo.
Happy hunting all......PaulB.

Tried to contact you the last time you posted, you obviously missed my post. Where in South Wales are you from,I from Swansea i interested in buying the SEF coil you have whats your opinion on it

Hiya Jack.....The 15 x 12" SEF coil in combo is the best set up i have ever used with the Explorer II
I live in Cwmbran and occasionally come down your way to hunt various beaches.
I range from Saundersfoot through to Barry.
Re the EF Coil: Seems to be lighter because of better balance,,i can swing the detector for
up to 8 hours without too much fatigue and i am 62 years old.
First class ground coverage and you can set sens. much higher than with stock coil.
Recovery rate in iron/mineralised ground is far superior too.
More depth and will still find those elusive cut halves/quarters that we all strive to find.
IMHO I can never see me changing the coil again.....
Its a real cracker on salt wet sand....and very deep indeed.
Hope that helps somewhat...Cheers PaulB.
