Found Near an 1820's Acadian

It's old, it's silver and doesn't have a makers mark. Any idea what it is?

Well from what I can readily see, it is an open book with what appears to be an indian or native on one page, and an old woman in a shawl holding what appears to be a cup...The backing suggests a cloak clasp, or cufflink perhaps???
No idea on the age, but it appears old.

HH,

Thank you gentlemen!

It doesn't unscrew and I think the round part use to be a half dime or half real.

boy that art sure looks fairly primitive, I mean as historically early, not as un artistic. Cool find! CO
