Found near a roman quarry , may be modern?

Found this item near a roman quarry in the UK, any ideas if it is roman or modern?

length is 4.5 inches and was about 8 inches down in clay soil.

its called a concrete form nail, when the nail is driven down to yhe first head, there is left another head to pull the from the wooden form when the concrete has dried. sorry, no treasure this time, unless youre fixing to do some concrete forming.
