found my first silver coin without my qxt pro

i was digging with two buddies in an old dump yesterday and was finding cool blue glass bottles and old marbles. I was sifting with my hands through the dirt from the 3 foot deep whole that we had been working on and something caught my eye. I pulled out a 1942 australian six pence with a denver mint mark in exc condition. What the heck our the odds of this happening. I am still thrown off why an australian coin would have a denver mint mark? i found out there were san francisco minted six pences as well. I hope my qxt pro isnt mad that i left her at home for this one but it was really cool to find a silver coin on my own.
