We finally got some decent weather today.I went to an old school that opened in 1906 and closed in 1961.I was using a modified High Pro mix mode program.I found a 1961 Rosy in excellent condition and 4 wheaties from the 1940's.There is no clad at this school. It has been hunted hard before.I didn't get to hunt much of the school grounds just under and around the old swings. The school, the oldest swimming pool in the state and a park from the 1920's are only 9 miles from my house.I'm still learning the V3i and will be for awhile.I really enjoy hunting with this detector.I'm becoming a whiz at going through the menus. The school grounds are carpeted with roofing nails.I can go slow and pick out some good coins through the trash.I won't get to hunt for a week.I got a 7 day stretch of 12 night shifts starting Friday. Then I'm"back to school".
