Found my first seated dime today.

I went out with a member from another forum today and hit two old houses in my home town. The one I had my eye on for some time belonged to a civil war general. He was also the county sheriff for several years. We concluded it had been hunted before because we only found clad and a 1950 silver half. At the other house I found 4 wheats, a handful of other clad and this seated dime. My friend also found a 1860 something two cent piece.

I didn't get real excited because I didn't know exactly what it was. I was sure it was silver after I pulled it out of the hole. I poured some water on it from a water bottle and I "thought" it was a seated but I new better then to start rubbing on it so I had to wait until I got home. I then soaked it with warm water and soap and lightly rubbed it with a Q tip and this is how it turned out. This makes my second silver dime (1 1836 capped bust) in my first few months of MDing.
