Found my first Rings with my CZ7a Quicksilver!

CZFisher-man

New member
Hi everyone, on what was my 4th day out so far with my Fisher CZ7a on my local beach in the UK I found 2 silver rings, the first jewellery I have found yet, it was a quite a buzz to see that shining silver in the hole!, both found in wet sand. This machine is working really well considering how old it is now!, and it works faultlessly on the beach in any conditions wet or dry, a great machine.

Now I no why it is called the CZ7a Quicksilver, :)

Probably won't be your last either! Now spend some time going over that sand chasing those mid tones, nickel to foil!

Hi, thanks for your comments, considering I have only been detecting 4 times now, this machine can find stuff just by literally turning it on and searching!!, although of course will find more if ground balanced and set up right, this was the first time I had really understood how to ground balance properly, so I think I have it sussed now, and switching from all metal to I-D is easy to do and helps with identifying stuff and Iron, still have much to learn, such as better understanding the Tones as you mentioned, but getting better each time spent using it and learning more tricks on how the machine works.

I really like this detector!.
