I couldn't believe it.
I found an 8 Reales 1819. It's very worn. But I was able to make out enough to snoop around on the internet and figure out what it is. It looks like it was minted in 1819. I'm sure it was on the beach for a long time. It's a silver coin. I soaked it in fresh water for a few days. Do I need to do anything else to presserve it? The coin has a hole in it where someone wore it for jewelry. Given it's rough shape, I'm sure it is worth way more to me than it would be to anyone else.
