I went diggin today and had a rebel surprise! It was only 1 1/2" deep. This is my first relic with CS on it. I hope it's what I think it is. Thanks for any input!

Thats a beautiful spur!! According to the book I have it's a Memphis Novelty works .. Which company was owned by Leech and Rigdon..
Great find!!
Mike

Just as you described over the phone yesterday; it is a product of Leech and Rigdon aka; Memphis Novelty Works. Designed as an Officers model and rarer than finding a CSA rectangular belt plate. Having the iron rowel intact is a bonus. Congrats on a super find Bulletman! David @ Dixie

David,
I am curious to know how much it's worth?....Aaron

He plans on never selling it. Neither would I. It is worth what another person is willing to pay. However, to answer your question, for the same money your could purchase a CSA retangular belt plate; although this spur is rarer by far. David @ Dixie
