Found my first class ring. Class of 1947.............:cam:

After finding those coins and that dragon/ax yesterday, I decided
that there just had to be some more good finds still waiting there.

They are cleaning and filling the pool. This may have been my last
chance before it is packed with swimmers every day til dark.

I hunted for a long time. I'm really tired.

So when I found this class ring, I just gave it up in happy resignation.

Would you believe that the class ring was in almost the same spot
as this wedding ring I found several months ago? It's true. Do they
come in pairs?

I am supper tired and my shoulder is inflamed from all the swinging
and digging I've done in the last four days.

I am probably going to have to lay up for a couple of days before I
can go MDing again.:goodnight:

But with all that has come my way lately, may be that's OK. Just
some good rest and I'll be ready to go again.:detecting:

It is gonna take some doing if I'm gonna out do Jabbo.................

HH,

Amazing finds Tabdog, my goal is to someday find a class ring & return it to the owner. Something that I have always wanted to do. Steve.

I would like to return it.

But I can not find a school or colledge

that that ring may have came from.

May be later I'm just too tired now.

HH,[/quote] Get some rest my friend, I wasn't trying to say that you wasn't going to try to return the ring. I just meant in my previous post that something that I have always wanted to do was to find a class ring & give it back to the owner, and watch the joy on their face, it would make my day & would be something that I would never forget. Steve.

Way to go! I was born that year and have found high school / college rings for nearly every year from 1968 and up but my goal is to find a 1947. 39 years of looking has turned up silver and gold class rings going back to 1912, but not my year. There is hope for this old-timer. Congratulations! Here's to "diggin it" Larry

Did not mean to sound snooty my friend.

I was tired and sore.

Did not get a winke of sleep all night.

Sholder swelled up this time.

It's feeling better now.

I can even move my arm a little now.:)

HH,

Great finds TD!

Take a break for a couple days!!!!!
