Found my first Block C button today!

I was detecting a particular spot that has been producing some nice CS items today in Goldsboro, NC, and found my first Confederate Block C button! Backmark is Courtney & Tennant, a Charleston, SC manufacturer. It is also the rarer of the Block C's according to Albert's Button Book, an R75. Quite excited about this find, it has a strong shank which is tilted just a hair, but full.

Thanks for the comments. The spot I have been hunting is heavy in small iron. I started to heed some of the advice of the experienced users on the forums and now I run 0 disc, sens at 75 at this spot (for lack of EMI) and 2f. The detector grunts for all iron. I just cherry pick all of the good signals from the grunts and it is cherry pick heaven. The F-75 is incredibly sensitive. I have not even delved into the Boost Process at this location, just stay Default for now. And Mike, good to hear from you. I can't wait to see if I can pull a couple more out of this area.

You have been on fire.... :hot:
