Found My 100th Silver Dime & Some Other Old Finds

Here's some of my better finds from several hunts over the last two weeks.
These coins and relics were found at a few very old houses, two different Civil War era cellar holes and at a church that was built in 1867.

The 1901 Barber Dime that I found at an old abandoned farm house yesterday is the 100th Silver Dime that I've found after 2 1/2 years in this hobby.
Dime total so far ... (1) Capped Bust - (10) Barber's - (52) Merc's and (37) Silver Rosie's = (100).

I only found one coin at each of the old cellar holes that I hunted - a 1828 Large Cent at one and a 1831 Large Cent at the other - no complaints here !
These cellar holes are about 10 miles apart from each other and both are in very remote locations way back in the woods - so I had to hike in to both of them.

The copper ring is stamped - "18K" inside - must have been gold plated at one time - this ring must be older because it was down a measured 10" under a large tree root at the church.

The $1.00 "Red Goose Shoes" Trade Token is from the 1950's - found this one in the woods behind the old church.

The Shell & Sunoco Gasoline collector series coins have the US Presidents and famous US landmarks on them - from the early 1960's - both were found at the same old house.

That's awesome! Congrats! What part of Ohio are you from and maybe we can do a hunt or 2 sometime. I am from southern Ohio around Lucasville

Congrats on hitting #100! How many did you find each year and did you have an etrac the whole time? I am curious as to how the count changed over time with the etrac!

Nice finds and congrats on the 100th. Mark, I will have to live to be 100 years old to get my 100th.
