Found Me Some "Gold" Yesterday...Well, SORT of...Totally NOT Metal Detecting Related.

My 4GB USB flash drive crapped out on me last week...wear and tear..."coming and going" in Windows due to damage to the USB connector. I had to tear it apart and solder it just to get my stuff off of it. But I use it pretty much every day at work (I.T. stuff) so I needed a replacement.

I'm not one to shop at Radio Shack a very much, due to their prices sucking, but their "Black Friday" deals had some great stuff. A lot of GPS units were sold as well as Zunes, Bluetooth stuff, etc. Got me a SWEET USB flash drive for $24...all I had to do was show up at 6 AM and stand in line for about 30 minutes and walk out with it. Also got a great little battery-powered (4 AA's) soldering gun with a bright nose-mounted light that goes from "zero - solder" in 7 seconds for $4.99!!!

Flash drives always a handy tool. Im looking for a good GPS deal, sure to be somemore before Christmas.

They had the normally $249 Magellan's for $129...people were snapping them up like hotcakes. I very nearly bought one and then I was like "I never GO anywhere!"
