A couple of weeks ago I finished trying to clean out a wood chip play ground that had a ton of aluminum in it. It took weeks to complete the task. I would leave there and have a pocket bulging with specks of aluminum and iron junk. I haven't been back there until today. I decided to take my little Compadre back over there and see what I could come up with.

It's above freezing but the wood chips were still a little frozen. I hunted out side the play ground for a little while and found a few coins. Then I moved on to the wood chips.

Believe it or not, I got just as many pieces of aluminum as before but there was a big difference this time. In about 2.5 hours I was able to complete about 60% of the whole thing and hit all the hot spots. It would only take about an hour or two to complete the whole thing.

It felt good to be able to do that.:)

I did manage to find a small golden cross and Amy's name. Don't know what Amy's gonna do without her name.
I also found what I think is a silver coke spoon ear ring.
