.My town was formed in 1813. This coin is between 1816-1819. Could only read first 3 numbers. Found 6 inches down. Oldest coin I have ever found. Might not find another this old. Am working on cleaning it up. Will post when cleaned up. I went almost as crazy as "diggers' when I found this coin

Should only need 15 mins or so looks to have good detail soak it 5mins check by rinsing under water if it needs more do it in 5min increments. You may have another method. And that's great but short of electrolysis. Hot sauce works great and doesn't eat the copper like elect. Ps hope you find many more. HH c t
