From the land of the Bluenose....John McKinnon founded the Blues ball team over 24 years ago so we had this made for him as he is retiring from the game so I get the honour of presenting it to him this evening at a team party. The gold for the ring came from scrap gold ones that I had found and we had the ring engraved with his name and years with the team. Have two silver ones made (I'm keeping one) from the same mold from my some scap siler and will donate one to the team for a sportmanship award at the end of the year.

Still on the ball scene we are also attending A Hubbards and District Fastball Reunion from 1970. Be great to see the old bouys that I first started playing with. With both functions to attend we will be social butterflies this evening. Got me dancing gum rubbers out!
