Was at the beach that is mostly all clay because the wave action has taken away the sand. In a pile of rocks that I had taken two of my silver rings out of I spied this signet ring. That works for me. Its been a while since I have seen the yellow stuff.

But the most interesting finds were my silver rings. Two of them have Latin sayings on them and the third is a military ring with a pilots insignia on it. The SECOND ring has a date of 1922 on the top and 1851 inside. I don't know what all the symbols stand for on it. The lettering is SICITER AD ASTRSA. The big one with the onyx stone has CONJUCTIO FIRMAT. It could be a family crest.

One silver rosey, a 1902 V nickel and a little bit of new stuff. I was sorting my finds out late last night and see I put a house in with my wheats. Too tired I guess.

Its interesting that the gold and all he silver rings I found yesterday were broken where they are supposed to be soldered I find one or two like that but not 5 in a day. The big silver religious metal and the small silver pendant were the rest of my silver finds.

This small beach is giving up a lot of gold and silver. Kevin beat me in the gold department again yesterday. Another honker old class ring. But I keep slaughtering him in the silver department. I offered to change some of his gold for my silver but he hasn't taken me up on the offer yet. Just trying to be fair.

Nice SD, Real nice man.

Could the foreign language be Latin by chance. Would seem a more common language used on old rings then spanish up where you are hunting.

Congrats no matter the language though :D

Lakota

PS. Scuba, " Siciter ad astrsa " translates from Latin " By way of the stars " . And Conjuctio Firmat is spanish it seems and I wasn't able to find anything ( that I could translate that is) on that phrase.

Nice finds Scuba.
I think the phrase "Conjuctio Firmat" is Latin. "Firmat" is Latin for "Strangthens", I don't know about "Conjuctio" but "conjunctum" is Latin for together, maybe a miss spelling?

So something like "together strengthens" or "Strength together"?
