Found Diggers token

Southwind

Well-known member
While out hunting the Fort Atkinson site my buddy found the Diggers Anaconda Treasures.com token. Sorry fuzzy picture from his cell phone. They must plant these at the sites they hunt? One guys name is "Ringy" the other "RG" Says "Extreme Metal Detecting 2013 on the back and Trade Dollar. I'll try and get better pictures unless someone has it already.

Has anyone else found one of these at a site they have hunted?

Found these coins not far from it. A 1841 seated dime and a 1835 capped bust half dime.

I'm really impressed with the seated dime. The detail is very good.
Funny if the 'diggers' were there and missed those coins. Maybe they ain't all as hot as they claim.

I do believe these coins were native to the site not planted by the Diggers. I found a 1839-o seated half dime there years ago. I think they just missed these. They really need to get with the local detecting clubs/people before they plan a hunt to find the best places. I could have filled both of them's pouches with the 45-70 shells from the places I know.

This button was also within 100', like those coins, of where their token was found. I found this one two weeks ago. Period coat button about the size of a quarter. The 1841 dime was found by a hunting buddy John 15 minutes before I found the 1835 half dime.

Good stuff! Lots of good places to hunt out here in Western Kansas. Hoping to hit Ft. Aubrey this weekend!

Southwind congrats on the silver and the token,i already see in your future you are going to find that golden coin or something bigger!!!

I think it's safe to say they plant them at the sites they hunt. John found a second one today out in the same field as the last.

That is the downside of letting people know they hunted there. "Hey Diggers, look what you and your Garretts missed"

LOL Larry..... They sure missed a lot of stuff. Maybe not holding their coils right  Southwind we need to get you a TV show. !!!!!!!!! Great job. Guess the Diggers were worried about "other" things besides finding some spectacular coins like Southwind did. Thanks for posting those awesome seated finds.
