Found CW era Button "69" Possible Indiana

Found this button in Indiana. Believe it is the 69th Indiana Regiment Button. Cannot find another example to confirm it. Quite large and heavy for a button. Any ideas?
 
3 piece button manufactured 1870 -1920.
 
Dug one years ago also. It's listed in the Albert's button guide as NY59B; New York 69th regiment . Nice find!
 
I thought this is a 2 piece button? Where is the 3rd piece?
 
Just going by the pics, but usually these big buttons have a back, front, and the rim surrounding the 2.
