Found couple early buttons

Thursday went digging 3 hours after work. Button on left I can see U S beneath crust and it is a complete one-piece flat pewter U S button (1808-1830) , next button is a Great Coat cuff sized button 1820's and the long cylindrical brass piece with slit down center is candle stick holder (1840's-50s). Tough digging in tall grass but come this Fall it will be fun digging! :)

wow, ks digger, those are some nice 'uns indeed. them buttons are rarer than hen's teeth around here. yeah, frank and i can't wait until fall/winter either...it's gonna be interesting! thanks, and hh!
