Found Coil Cover in Myrtle Beach SC...

Hey guys and girls. This is a long shot but was in Myrtle Beach last week and on Monday July 12 stopped and talked for a couple of minutes to a guy detecting as I was doing the same. I know what kind of detector he had and he was from somewhere in Ohio, sadly I don't recall his name, I am terrible remembering names. Went on down the beach quite a ways, turned around and on the way back I came across a coil cover. I know it has to be his, it is for his type of machine. I picked it up and hoped I would cross paths with him on my way back but I did not. I looked for him the rest of the week and didn't see him again. So if you know a guy from Ohio that was in Myrtle Beach SC last week and lost his coil cover, or if you read this yourself, contact me by PM and describe the cover and the approximate area we were and I will gladly send it to you. Thanks, and Moderators I did not know exactly where to post this but thought this thread would be the best shot of reaching this fellow, move it if you think it should be moved with my apologies. Thanks Everyone HH.

What you are doing is very nice--I hope this guy finds you, and if he does I hope he appreciates the effort you are making. In two weeks I'm taking my new Excal on it's maiden voyage to Myrtle Beach (the get-acquainted trip to Rocky Gap State Park in Western Md was just a warm-up) and I am really looking forwards to the trip. How was the hunting at MB?

Pretty good, I found a 10k mans wedding band with a small diamond and a large 10K pendant of St. Barbara with lots of ice and a ruby which I doubt are real, but the gold value alone is prob. over $300 bucks as it weighs 23.5 grams. Very deep sand compared to last year as they have "nourished" the beach. Last year I found 7 rings and a ladies watch in 6 days. This year 1 ring, the pendant and a ladies watch in 4 days. Still pretty good at low tide. Hope the guy or someone that knows the guy replies. If not, I have a detector that the coil cover will fit but I know I would want mine back if I lost it. Thanks
