We are looking for a positive ID on this piece dug on the Bull Run Battlefield.

Is it a fuze part, or a plumbing part? Thank you.

Perhaps you are jumping to a conclusion. I often say I hunted Cold Harbor Battlefield. What I'm say is I hunt privet land in the area of Cold Harbor Battlefield.

it's a valve seat for a faucet. i just replaced two of those in my bathroom. when you turn the faucet off, the rubber washer seats against the raised ring stopping the flow of water/
