Hit a soccer field over weekend. Dug a nice gold hoop earing about 2/3 size of mans wedding band. Well when i got home it was no where to be seen. I'm thinking it may have got stuck in my rag for the dirt and plug when i was taking it in and out. It would have been my first gold. Lesson well learned

Sorry to hear that rich . .I feel for you. I think ALL of us go through a similar situation ONE time. I read a post here awhile back about someone losing a really valuable find so now I take any really good finds straight to my truck. You going back to look . . .?
