Found an old pocket spill today

in the woods. Was heading back to my car empty handed when I got a IH penny reading, dug an indian head about 6" deep. Then 15 feet away another IH reading. Dug an IH and a nickle 3 cent piece stuck together. Checked the hole again and heard silver high tone. Retrieved an 1875 seated dime. Checked the hole again, another silver high tone and the second seated dime came out, 1876. The indian heads and 3 cent piece are badly corroded. The dimes have wear but no corrosion. Last week I posted the large sleigh bell I found in that same general area and 500 feet away found a 1916 Barber dime and a 1937 Merc. Only once before did I ever find a seated coin, a dime about 30 years ago, today I find two. For sure, luck was with me as I was walking back to my car. ID Edge with 10" coil.

That's one heck of a pocket spill to find, any coin on it's own is a pleasure in itself to find, but all together - spectacular
