Found an old Metal Arrowhead! :clapping:

Well a couple days ago a friend and I went out to detect a location that has been known to had a large Tribe of Sioux Native Americans who used to camp there. We got permission from the land owner and we started detecting. I opened the screen completely up because I wasn't getting any signals at all. Then my first signal came up as an iron signal and I almost didn't dig it. I assumed it was trash. But since it was the first signal I had gotten I decided to dig it. And out popped this Metal Arrow Head. :clapping: To be honest I didn't even know the Sioux made metal Arrow Heads but I guess I was wrong!! Anyways decided this was one of my coolest finds so I figured I had to share! If anyone knows anything much about it I would appreciate the info! :spin:
Thanks Helgriffan

That's really neat. I see the ground finally thawed out up there in your corner of the state. Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on a very nice find.

That's a cool find! I would be interested in knowing how deep it was and if it was in a plowed field or an undisturbed area. I will be following this thread. Thanks for the post and congrats on the find!

Thanks everyone! One of my best finds for sure. I found it about 9 inches And it rang up as Iron...I dont remember the exact numbers because I assumed it was trash! The ground was undisturbed and right next to a small creek. Sure glad I decided to dig it. Hope I can get back out there again sometime!
