Found an Ike $1 Coin!

I initially thought it was going to be trash target...but it had an intriguing sound and I could tell that if it was a coin, it would be a big one so I dug! It was just where spectators would sit next to a soccer field. Because of the distance from my home, I haven't been very thorough in detecting this park in the past, but I think I'll go over it some more and much more thoroughly!

Way cool...big coins are great to find even if they are not silver.
This is the last of the big dollars...they weren't really popular and had a short run and we probably won't see any coins like this again.
I have been lucky enough to find two so far so they are still out there.

Thanks REVIER! Yes, I couldn't imagine having a pocketful of these coins! They would soon put a hole in your pant's pocket and yes, they were not popular like you mentioned.
