Had a chance to hunt on a chilly morning. Came upon a 82 signal at 1 " that I almost passed on. Pulled out a 1898 Barber dime. I tend not to dig too many surface signals, but I think that will change now. Also got this tag dated 1935-1936. It says "Iowa DEpt. of Agriculture on it. Any ideas.
That Barber tied me for my silver total last year at 66. One more to set a new record for me. Have also pulled up over 250 wheats so 2012 has been good to me.
 
Department of Agriculture certifies weights and measures. Tag for a pump or scale?
