My friend and I have been hunting a very old plantation home (1837) for several hunts. We have found several 3 ringers, civil war buttons, tokens and several old coins. I found this 1851o half dime, which is the best coin I have found at this site. I have only found 2 half dimes before this one, all are seated. My favorite coin shop offered me $35 for it, but I'm just going to hang onto it.

Very nice, in great shape. I would hang on to it too. $35.00 might be a little low depending on where it graded out. Big jump between FMV VF20 ($37.00) and FMV XF40 ($110.00).
