Found a Silver ring....sorta.

Went to a old park today in Durant. I have been finding a a few wheat pennies and was hoping to find silver there. Dug a lot of miscellaneous targets. First coin size find was a Oklahoma tax token, my first at this site. Then I got a good 12-42 signal at 6in. And it ended up being this small button with the outline of the state of Texas and the words WOOD, Texas.

Then I got what I thought was a silver quarter signal at 8-9 inches. Out comes my first silver ring...sorta.

I was pumped until I saw the shape it was in. Owell it will melt. :)

I also found a piece of a picture locket, 2 pennies (1959 dang) and a zincoln, 2 quarters, and some misc washers with weird holes.

Nice Digs. You did well in fooling me on that first ring picture...can't even tell it's only 2/3rds there. Congratulations on the finds and thanks for the great pictures.

Nice assortment of finds. I especially like the token.

I've seen the washer on the right sewn into the hems of curtains to help them hang down straighter. The middle bar was kind of like a button hole, that's where the thread ran through. I thought maybe the washer on the left was one of those wizzer toys that has a string running through it as a loop and you twist it and spin it and it makes a wizzing sound.
