Found a silver ring and for a brief moment, gold

Went to a small town a few miles from home. This town is little more than a wide spot in the road, but for some reason has two parks. Checked the older of the parks and under the swings found what appears to be a silver wedding band. Mens size, plain band and stamped "Sterling". Just before dark I decided to head down by the river and visit the boat landing and out popped ANOTHER ring, plain band and I was positive that it was gold until I got it home and cleaned it up. Then I could see where the plating was chipped off. A bit disappointing but I'm very pleased with the silver. First silver I've found in about a month. Oh - also the usual clad, blah, blah....!

[size=large]you could call it the Fedral Reserve Ring. looks good on the outside but worthless inside.

What? No photos! I'm waiting on my first silver ring in 2012. I remember a few years ago by Memorial Day I'd have 20 or 30! It's a drag getiing old.

The ring is such a plain jane that I wasn't going to post a pic of it....nothing special. But since you asked so nice....Ane it's the first ring I've found that fits me. Also attaching a pic of the "gold ring" that nearly fooled me.

Better! Great ring, BTW!!!!!!
