found a quarter farm

This is from last sunday all clad but 26 quarters out of the size of an infield wow.Cleaned them up in a rock tumbler
 
Stayed in default coin and jewelry mode and had so many quarter readings that i stopped digging the pennies.Great day to learn alot.Went back yesterday for a couple of hours and started finding them again but left because of the heat.I wonder why there are so many quarters?It is a cathoilc church 2 ballfields and i havent finished the first yet.Awaiting a pro coil to try my luck next weekend.

Quarters where used at a lot of traveling carnivals for tickets to rides and goodies(Catholic Churchs were regular customers). Kids would be given a handful and would lose them one or two at a time walking around. Used to Carney years ago for a couple of summers. Watched them tumble down a lot and picked up a lot after shutdown as well. Missed a lot more. Some of the kids would simply lose em as they concentrated on their corn dogs or cotton candy, drinks, ice cream cones, etc.... Man those days were before the paper tickets ruled you had to buy so the Carney owners got all the monies. Back then if you weren't honest you were soon unemployed. Times have changed...
 
2 cars lipstick case a medallion of some kind not old and a door knob that looks pretty ancient on the top left.
